Steve Lambert was inspired to begin his career in real estate after being on the other side of the property transaction. He spent 12 years as a top producer in medical sales in the highly competitive pharmaceutical and consumer goods industries which required him to move often. He discovered that the knowledge he gained about what worked and what didn’t in real estate transactions was significant. He also realized he was fascinated by the intricacies of the property market. He decided to become an agent himself and now relishes the challenging dynamics of the real estate market; and the creativity and problem-solving skillsets required to be successful.
With nine years of real estate sales under his belt, Steve comes to Nook as a leading agent from the Tri-Cities market in Washington State. Steve grew up in Los Angeles in a home that was cozy and happy and has also lived in north San Diego county, Pasadena, and Kennewick, Washington. Licensed in both Washington and California, Steve has a BS in Business from Eastern Washington University and offers his clients a global perspective on the market – his life experiences have helped him see the bigger picture in terms of value and service to his clients.
Steve’s advanced business acumen, engaging manner, unparalleled passion for real estate and transparent communication style ensure his clients’ buying and selling experiences are enjoyable and memorable. He truly believes that real estate should be fun and exciting and focuses on removing the stress from the equation. A fan of mid-century modern architecture, he also loves “lodge” style beach homes – anything that’s crisp, clean and refined while still being warm and inviting.
An avid golfer, beach cruiser cyclist and drummer, Steve is also passionate about wine and cars. He loves to talk about his favorite tipples and enjoys visiting wineries. Now enjoying his Newport Beach residence, Steve specializes in homes on the Balboa Peninsula and Newport coastal properties and really enjoys the relaxed style, outdoor activities, restaurants and fabulous weather this area is famous for. He is a huge fan of the emphasis Nook places on helping their clients find the lifestyle they’re looking for – and believes it’s one of the most important elements in finding his clients the right home.
More about Steve Lambert in his own words:
Q: What are you most passionate about in real estate?
A: The ability to help people realize their dreams and goals – and to help them find the lifestyle they’re looking for. It’s one of the reasons I joined Nook – their focus on lifestyle just makes so much sense in the property market. Our clients are buying much more than a home… they’re buying the lifestyle that they want too.
Q: If you could change one thing about your home what would it be and why?
A: I would definitely change my kitchen! Sadly, it’s small and tight. I really love open, bright and airy kitchens with great flow. I’m a big fan of open floorplans because they have great energy and people seem to gravitate to open spaces that relate well to each other.
Q: When's the first time that you remember a style of home influencing you?
A: When I was around ten years old, I realized I really liked the mid-century modern style. Growing up in LA allowed me to check out all kinds of interesting and different architecture. I immediately loved mid-century modern homes, but I also have a soft spot for more rustic or lodge-style design as well.
Q: If you could change one thing about how real estate is transacted today, what would it be and why?
A. I would love to make the process cleaner for clients - less paperwork and shorter timeframes. I really focus on reducing the pain in the transaction – it’s just better for everyone!
