BIOGRAPHY

An Orange County native, Steph has a passion for the coastal lifestyle the area offers. Growing up a dancer and artist, she enjoys the creativity found throughout OC - from murals in Costa Mesa to performances at Segerstrom, from Laguna's art scene to the unique homes found throughout the county, she finds inspiration at every turn.

When it comes to homes, Steph finds the most inspiration in neighborhoods where each home expresses its own unique design. She loves living somewhere where you can find a Mid-Century Modern, Bungalow, Contemporary, Farmhouse and Spanish all within the same community. Her personal favorite is Spanish contemporary. "In a world full of straight lines and right angles, I find something refreshing and comforting about a curve and arch every now and then."

Steph believes the home is just the start. A key ingredient of the buying and selling process is the bigger picture of each clients' goals & dreams - and her agency focuses on just that. Whatever lifestyle you want to achieve or enhance, Steph helps you get there as hassle-free as possible. Q: What excited you most about joining Nook?
A: The unique focus on architecture and lifestyle, as well as the marketing materials and strategies that put our clients in the absolute best buying and selling position.

Q: When's the first time that you remember how a style of home had an effect on you?
A: When I was very young - maybe about 8 years old - I remember going to open houses with my mom. We entered one home that had absolutely no natural light, and tons of dark interior features. I remember telling my mom I didn't want to live there. I absolutely love that in today's design, natural light and open spaces are a popular and cherished home feature!

Q: What's your fondest memory of your childhood home?
A: Growing up, my two older sisters and I shared two bedrooms on the second story, and our bedroom windows faced each other. We used to do things like put a string with paper cups on each end hanging between the windows and talk to each other on our "phone." It didn't matter which part of the house we were in, we always found a way to be creative and enjoy each other’s company! I really enjoy helping families find homes and love imaging their children having similar experiences. My best memories from the home in which we grew up are the many hilarious moments with my sisters.

Q: What's your favorite room in your house and why?
A: Our living room is just heaven. It’s got all the ingredients for relaxing and enjoying life to the fullest – a clean aesthetic, floods of natural light, a peaceful and roomy yoga corner, glorious sunset views, a comfortable sofa, and when we time it just right… my husband!
