BIOGRAPHY

Danijela Ripley brings her expertise in urban high-rise and single-family home sales and marketing to Nook Real Estate’s San Diego division. Since launching her real estate career at American City Realty in San Diego in 2009, Danijela has forged a reputation for stellar client service and sales success, representing homebuyers, real estate investors and large-scale developers. Her practice at Nook Real Estate focuses on San Diego’s Del Sur, 4S Ranch and Downtown markets.
 
The impressive breadth and depth of Danijela’s real estate experience proves to be a valuable asset to her clients in every transaction. In addition to her background as a real estate investor with a proven track record for acquiring, redeveloping and selling homes, she also is a recognized expert in the marketing and sales of luxury high-rise condominiums. Tapped by leading developers to develop effective advertising strategies - especially online campaigns - that result in quick sell-outs, Danijela is also known for consistently negotiating the highest prices the market can bear for her sellers’ properties.

A native of Bosnia, Danijela emigrated to the US in 1993, during the civil war in her country. She fell in love with San Diego on a visit in 2001 and has called the city home ever since. She currently resides in 4S Ranch with her family. When she’s not selling real estate or volunteering in her children’s classrooms, she gives her time to World Vision, supporting their mission to provide child protection and disaster relief worldwide. In fact, Danijela donates 10% of all commissions to World Vision.

A bit more about Danijela, in her own words:

Q: Where do you live now and why do you love it?
A: I currently live in 4S Ranch with my family. 4S Ranch is located about 25 miles north of Downtown in the inland North County area of San Diego. It’s a tight-knit master planned community within the coveted Poway Unified School District. PUSD recently built Design39 in our zone, which is a unique TK-8 public school designed to reinvent education. We also have the best parks and grocery stores, toy stores and everything families with kids need right in our neighborhood. 

Q: If you could have a second home or a dream home (beyond your current home) where would it be and why?
A: My husband and I will be building a Timber Home in the mountains of Bosnia next summer. We plan to use all natural materials and spend many family vacations there enjoying nature and serenity. 
 
Q: What's your fondest memory of your childhood home?
A: As a child, I loved our family vacation home in the mountains of Bosnia. I loved our large terrace with a view of Romanija Mountain. It was a place where the whole family gathered for meals and quality time. At night, we often saw fireflies in my grandma’s garden and enjoyed the crisp mountain air. Even the stars in the night sky seemed to shine brighter and we saw many shooting stars. It was really magical.
