Tracy Marriner

Curator

BIOGRAPHY

Nook Curator Tracy Marriner is half of the buzz-worthy design duo (along with fellow Nook Curator, Tracy McLellan) behind Laguna Beach-based T&T Interior Design. Known for her artful and eclectic approach to interior design and staging, Marriner creates well balanced spaces by combining clean lines, texture, warmth, a vintage/modern mix of pieces, and a touch of California boho. A confirmed architecture aficionado, she favors Mid-Century Modern and Modern Ranch for their commonalities - a clean aesthetic, generous use of glass and natural lighting, open floor plans, naturally exposed wood, pitched ceilings, and outdoor living. In addition to her residential design and staging projects, Marriner has just launched her first commercial project - converting a 10,000-square-foot boating warehouse to creative office space for Roadtrip Nation, a nonprofit dedicated to helping people find career and life fulfillment. Speaking of fulfilment, Marriner continues to have an inspiring sense of wonder and excitement about her work. “Interior design allows me to be creative and experimental,” she says. “I love the hunt that it can send me on when I am trying to find that perfect piece for a client. I love that at times it can be a challenge. Ultimately, I love that it allows me the freedom to take a vision and manifest it into a space that brings joy to others.” Her industry icons include Amber Lewis, Emily Henderson, Justina Blakeney, Kelly Wearstler, and Jonathan Adler, whose varying influences she’s incorporated into her own nook - the cozy-chic Laguna home she shares with her family. Why curate for Nook Real Estate? “Nook is a fresh modern approach within the real estate world,” says Marriner. “I admire what they represent and I'm excited to be part of their Curator community.”
